I have
worked in several schools, working with various grade levels but I have not seem to have really found my niche and I have
struggled through the years to find where my talents as a teacher will be best utilized.
That has all changed now. For the past year, I have been working in a
local high school with Special Education students in a Self-Contained Learning Disabilities class, teaching Math. I absolutely love working with smaller groups of students. I
can give more personal one to one attention to better meet student’s needs. I
really feel like I truly make a difference in my students learning. I love my
job. That is why I have decided to return to school to obtain my Masters in Education
in Special Education.
